Clothing and Appearance:
"An intensely beautiful har dressed in floating grey gauze with thigh-length platinum-coloured hair..." Velaxis typically wears neutral coloured clothing, robes, cloaks, pearl-encrusted gloves etc. Just your typical harish casual daywear."Velaxis had the beautiful yet watchful face of a spiteful pedigree cat..." There is something quite feline about Velaxis, both in appearance and movement. He is elegant and graceful. Tall, with slightly slanted blue eyes - "... blazing blue eyes as cold and dangerous as the eternal flames that might burn upon the altars of damned temples." (purple prose, what purple prose?) His hair is long and white, and often decorated with black pearls.
Habits/Mannerisms/Body Language:
Velaxis is described several times as being "watchful" He is never agitated or given to displays of emotion. He is calm and controlled and very difficult to "read", even other telepathic Wraeththu get nothing from him. Velaxis' tribe, the Gelaming, are described as "haughty and preening". They have an innate sense of their own superiority, and tend to strut around like they own the place. Velaxis himself likes to remain fairly inconspicuous (or as inconspicuous as a 6-foot hermaphrodite with bum length white hair can be!) in order to find out things about other people."Velaxis always unnerved Loki... he was the sort of har who knew everything and everhar." He is not particularly unfriendly or stand-offish, and is quite tactile with those who like being touched, but he will not instigate bodily contact with those that he can sense are uncomfortable with it.
Current Residence:
A large, luxurious room on the first floor of the Love Hotel.
Typical Daily Routine:
Velaxis will get up quite early, and eat breakfast in the Mess Hall. He will work on his administrative tasks for some hours, but likes to take tea and/or coffee breaks with whoever is about in order to keep himself up to date with Camp gossip. He enjoys his food, so is back in the Mess Hall for lunch. Later in the day, he will wander around Camp talking to to people and eavesdropping on conversations. After dinner, he likes to have a long, luxurious soak in the bath, followed by some meditation and various Wraeththu rituals designed to improve the mind and develop the spirtuality. Or he might have a hot oil treatment on his hair. He is very organised and efficient, and can get a lot done if he sets his mind to it.
Favourite Haunts:
The Mess Hall. The Onsen (where he relaxes in all his naked, hermaphrodite glory, in case anyone is squeamish about that sort of thing). The public areas of the Hotel. Anywhere there's a chance for tea and gossip. He's also quite fond of sitting in the library browsing the dirty books erotic literature.

Of course. With perfectly square, neat corners, and not a wrinkle in sight. |

- A meat cleaver and a bottle of scented massage oil, ordered from the Camp Store
- An inflatable Marilyn Monroe Doll, from Crowley
- A duck plushie from Anita's Crane Game
- A live orchid in a vase, from Caeru
- Some flowers from Oliver, which - if he was the sentimental type - he could have kept fresh indefinitely, but he isn't, so he didn't
